Who operates this site

1. What this site is

plainforge.com is a workshop of free web tools that run in your browser, a showcase of standalone apps on their own domains, and the ecosystem page that maps the whole network. Use of it is free and requires no account.

2. Tools, as-is

Every tool is free to use for any lawful purpose. Tools are provided “as is” and “as available”, built with care but without warranty of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. Double-check results before you rely on them for anything important. A calculator here is a hand tool, not certified advice (financial, medical, legal or otherwise).

3. The linked apps are their own services

Cards marked ↗ open separate websites. Each has its own terms, its own privacy policy and, where relevant, its own disclosures, published on that site. Those documents govern your use of those sites.

4. Acceptable use

Don't abuse the site: no scraping at hostile volume, no attempts to disrupt it or break things for others, no unlawful use. Good-faith security research is welcome; if you find an issue, tell us at the address above.

5. Intellectual property

The plainforge name and mark, the design, the text and the code of this site belong to the operator unless stated otherwise. You may link to any page and quote short excerpts with attribution. You may not copy the site wholesale, present it as your own, or use the plainforge name in a way that implies endorsement. Whatever you create with the tools is yours; we never see it.

6. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of, or reliance on, this site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Lithuania. If you are a consumer in the EU, you also keep the protections of the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence, and disputes may be brought before the courts of that country.

8. Changes

These pages may improve over time; the date above will change accordingly. The promise (free, no accounts, no tracking) is the part that won't.
