The numbers this workshop computes

A finding here is a number one of these tools computed, not one we read somewhere. Each card gives the figure, the day it was read and a link to the page that shows the method; where the finding is a dataset, that page has the file too. Free to cite with a link to the source page.

Six findings, all read 9 September 2026.

01 — Cars

Prices, laps and builds

33rd percentile (opens in a new tab)

carpriceindex.com · 9 Sep 2026

The index's typical price sits at the 33rd percentile of what German dealers are asking, read against 11,779 live listings. None of its 201 prices moved in the 1 September 2026 re-check, and the note says so.

Market note 201 cars

65 platforms (opens in a new tab)

carbuildcheck.com · 9 Sep 2026

Sixty-five real platforms carry stock figures whose source is named on the platform page, so a modified car is scored against what it actually started as. Each check returns a 0 to 100 build score, the weak link and an ordered upgrade roadmap.

lapcost.com · 9 Sep 2026

One track-day lap runs from €5.20 at Brands Hatch Indy to €47.79 on the Nordschleife, more than nine times the price across the 15 European circuits in the index. Twenty-eight circuits are priced in all, on typical track-day pace and a regional budget.

02 — Snow, work, data

snowreport.app · 9 Sep 2026

Sixteen of 53 destinations had natural snow on the ground in at least 8 of their last 10 opening weeks, and 13 managed it in none of them. Snow-ready means at least 30 cm of modelled depth on at least 3 of the 7 opening-week days, computed from ERA5-Land.

jobriskai.com · 9 Sep 2026

785 occupations scored on measured assistant use rather than forecasts, each broken into its O*NET 30.0 work activities and weighted by importance. The 332 activity measurements are Microsoft Research's, from 200,000 anonymised conversations; the per-occupation weighting is jobriskai's and its arithmetic is shown on every page.

yourdataprice.com · 9 Sep 2026

A bulk data broker sells a basic record for about half a thousandth of a dollar per person, while a stolen medical record asks up to $310 on dark-web markets. Same person, three markets, priced from company filings, broker rate cards and 2025–26 dark-web indexes, as of August 2026.

What is on this list

A site earns a card the day it publishes a dated number of its own. That rules out the tools that answer a reader's inputs without publishing a figure, and the reference layers that carry other people's facts well but compute nothing. Both are useful; neither is a finding.

The car findings also sit on drivenerve.com/research/, which is the automotive house and keeps its own page. This one is the whole register.
